FORESTRY
Southwest Georgia sits within a working-forest region. Feedstock diligence is assessing sourcing, quality, volumes and logistics for the planned facility.
CarbonCore has selected Bainbridge and Decatur County as the focus of development for the first GeorgiaSAF commercial production node.
GeorgiaSAF™ | A CarbonCore Company
The planned initial configuration comprises two production trains targeting approximately 20,000 barrels per day at full planned capacity.
GeorgiaSAF is being developed as a commercial-scale platform connecting sustainably sourced woody biomass with aviation fuel production. CarbonCore Georgia SAF I LLC is the project company developing the first commercial node.
Capacity is a planning target. The final facility configuration and delivery timetable will depend on technical diligence, engineering, permitting, site assembly and financing.
Site assembly, technical diligence, engineering, permitting, financing and other customary development milestones remain underway.
The development focus brings together Southwest Georgia’s forestry economy, industrial setting and access to the Southeast aviation market.

Rail forms part of the region’s industrial infrastructure. Project-specific connections, handling requirements, capacity and operator arrangements remain subjects of diligence.
Bainbridge and Decatur County have an established industrial setting. The development process is assessing the land, utilities and infrastructure needed for the planned configuration.
GeorgiaSAF is being developed with Georgia and Southeast aviation markets in view, including Atlanta. Fuel qualification, transport routes and commercial arrangements remain to be established.

Site assembly and the path through to site control remain underway. Technical, regulatory and commercial work must establish the basis for a final investment decision.
